Why AusCivics Film Festivals?
Australia. One choice. An infinite range of expressions. The one idea that unites all Australians is that the Australian Constitution provides a system of law, democracy, and government that is designed to serve everyone equally. Governments are bound by the law, and every individual no matter what their station or role is equally bound by and served by the Australian Constitution. The choice that every Australian makes is to live, work and play according to the system of law and democracy provided by our constitution. Within that premise there is room for every one and every background: One choice, with an unlimited range of expressions. This is a safe, privileged country. We can more fully celebrate "the Australian way" when we recognise the relationship between the Australian Constitution, our unique way of life, and the responsibilities of citizenship. Hence, the AusCivics Film Festivals which are both an education and a celebration.
